Sand Sherpa has a no single use plastic water bottle policy. This means that water must be brought on trips in reusable containers. We can supply these if required. We hydrate from filtered tap water available at HQ

We don't set fires directly on the ground and use custom fire pits on all expeditions. We also use our wood sparingly and take our waste with us leaving no debris on the open ground

We use Lotus Grill XLs to cook all our food. These are safe and cool to the touch even when cooking (keeping any little ones around safe). They also use a very limited amount of charcoal and emit little smoke and carbon monoxide compared to normal BBQs. The ash waste is transported away from the site for proper disposal and not left to damage or poison plants and indigenous wildlife

All waste is gathered in recyclable bags for transport off-site by the Sherpa Team. Reusable items are stored and/or disposed of separately.
