This three-hour event is designed as a first introduction to off-road driving, aimed at those who want to venture safely and confidently into the dunes. It is a great chance to learn more about the desert and acquire new skills and appreciation for the UAE’s natural environment.

Under the close supervision of your off-road guide, you’ll learn the essentials, before being led across the desert sands. Off-road driving and simple recovery techniques are an integral part of the programme.
Our driving locations can vary and are usually in Margham or Al Lisali where we begin with a 30-minute briefing before heading into the sands. Reservations will send a pin location of the meeting point.
Exercises in slope descents and ascents are interspersed with track driving and navigating less trodden routes, while the group makes frequent stops to evaluate obstacles and review driving theory and recovery techniques when required.
Support vehicles are equipped with water and all necessary recovery gear, while attendance is limited to a maximum of four vehicles (one driver per vehicle).
Our focus is on participant and vehicle safety, ensuring that you leave with the skills and knowledge to venture into the sands with friends and family.
